TV 2.0 – The future of television and the genesis of a new form of entertainment – Part 2
Although still in its infancy, the World Wide Web has become an important feature in the lives of everyone. Most of us access the Web all day, both at work and at home. It profoundly altered the way we do business, and how we communicate with family and friends. It also changed the way we entertain, but this paradigm shift has begun. As I wrote in the conclusion of Part 1 of this Article, the Web has the potential to become their own means of entertainment content exchanges with movies and television, but also provides its own unique programming. So where will this new content come from?
Like no other distribution of output before the Web offers independent producers, semi-professional video or niche ideal place to reach an audience. This is great news for young filmmakers, new talent and artists who want to focus on reaching the audience beyond the festival circuit. With access to web distribution, detection in a theater is no longer necessary. The economy of this potential are a boon for independent producers because, even though digital technology has made the film cheaper still by no means cheap if you want the production values that rival what the public is accustomed to seeing in a theater or on their TV screens.
The satellite TV in your car
Satellite TV is a new technology that has revolutionized television. Through satellites orbiting in space, thousands of miles above the earth, viewers are offered a wider range and better quality of programming. Satellite TV is an advanced form of mobile TV is better quality than cable. Many people have installed satellite dishes on the roofs of their houses, but now you can also receive satellite programming on your car.
Although many people find it difficult to watch TV and drive at the same time, besides the fact that in some states such activity is illegal, it is perfectly legal for passengers to benefit from television. Families with young children, for example, can benefit from technology.
